GOAL KICK |
- Method of restarting the play. - Goal kick is awarded when the whole ball passes over behind the net, last touched by an attacking team. - Ball is kicked from any point inside the goal kick area - Opponents must remain outside the box until the ball is in play. - The player who takes the goal kick cannot touch the ball again until it has been touch by a different player. - Once ball has been kicked outside the goal area, the ball is in play - A goal counts if a goalie/player scores from the goal kick.
|
OFFSIDE |
There is no offside rule in affect for indoor |
ACCUMULATED FOULS |
- If a team receives 5 fouls in 1 half, the next foul 6, 7, 8 etc., will result in a penalty shot, 6 yards away from original penalty shot marker, more fouls you commit the more penalty shots you give away to the other team. - Fouls ONLY get reset at half time. - This rule is implemented in Futsal. **Reason - To limit teams from taking fouls, and be more cautious around the opposing team, hopefully eliminating unnecessary fouls. |
BALL OUT OF PLAY |
- To be taken in place of the throw-in. - The ball is placed on the touch line before kicking (inside the dashed lines along the boards) - The kick-in must be taken within 5 seconds; if it is not, the kick-in is given to the opposing team. - The kicker cannot play the ball a second time until it has been played by another player; infringement of this rule entails an indirect free kick to the opposing from the point of infringement. - Players on opposing team must be at least 3 yards away from point of kick-in. - CANNOT score directly from a kick-in.
|
SENDING OFF OFFENCES |
A player is sent off if he commits any of the following seven offences: - Serious foul play - Violent conduct - Spitting at an opponent or any other person - Denying the opposing team a goal or an obvious goal scoring opportunity by deliberately handling the ball (this does not apply to a goalkeeper within his own penalty area) - Using offensive, insulting or abusive language and/or gestures - Receiving a second caution in the same match - Denying a goal or an obvious goal scoring opportunity (referees’ discretion) A player or substitute who has been sent off must leave the vicinity of the pitch and the technical area. If a player receives a red card, the team plays a man short for 5mins. No player has to serve the 5min penalty, once the 5mins penalty is over the team can put a player back onto the field.

UNLIMITED SUBSTITUTION |
